Ka-Tel is tasked with the management of .ka domains. This means that they are responsible for allowing .ka domains to be acquired, and served to private individuals or businesses for a term of service. Ka-Tel will take a unique approach to domain registrations. Kaldan citizens will pay a lower price for acquiring domains. There will be some reserved domains that will already be taken, and therefore not allowed to be sold. All domains must be at least 4 characters long.
If you do not have a Ka-Tel Account, nor a GIN, you must acquire a GIN before they can acquire a .ka domain. This is required in order to provide services, and comply with legal requirements. This will apply even if you are not in Kaldus. Once a GIN and NIN is acquired, then you can go to the government portal to acquire a GAON for Ka-Tel. This will be required even if acquiring a .ka domain. However, once an account is created, you will be able to add other services including additional .ka domains. When you wish to acquire a .ka domain, and assuming that you have a Ka-Tel account, you would either have your payment included, or would be prompted to add a payment method. To add a payment method, you would go to Payments > New. Your options will be Kal-Pay, credit/debit card, and PayPal. Once you acquire your .ka domain, you would then decide if you wish Ka-Tel to host or not. If not, you would be taken to a page to provide your name servers. If you choose Ka-Tel to host your domain, you would be given the option for the free plan, or paid plan. You would purchase your options, and everything will setup within an hour as it takes some time for name servers to refresh their listings.
