Pagers might seem like an antiquated technology that has been replaced by the instant connectivity of the cellular phone, but there are still industries that rely on pagers. With that said, pager services will be made available, however – a cellular phone is more cost effective. As according to NSC requirements – all pager services must also offer voicemail services. In this regard, the pager’s voicemail service will be tied into the subscriber’s unified voicemail system. This will notify the subscriber by page when there is a voicemail. This will apply to all voicemails including those from the cellular or a home phone line.
