Ka-Tel will provide hosting services that are compliant to any .ka domain. While this may sound limiting, Ka-Tel is not in the business of hosting domains. It requires an additional infrastructure, and one that Ka-Tel wants to reserve for just their customers (even non-citizens acquiring domains). The plans are as follows:

For domain registry, a Kaldan citizen will be able to acquire a 4+ character non-reserved domain for $25/year. Non-citizens will pay $50/year. This is intended to provide preferential treatment for Kaldan citizens. Non-citizens will be able to pay $50 for their domain, and host it with their preferred hosting company.
Also, a catch-all email service is available, but it must forward to the same domain. Therefore, anything@frank.ka must point to an address at frank.ka. This is intended to allow flexibility, but eliminate the chance for SPAM, and scams. This is to keep things above board, and assure that the citizenry of the Internet is proper, and sustainable. There is no point in offering services if it isn’t going to be used properly.
